Error during import of physical document

Dear All

We are working on an Integration project with third party DOCUMENTUM regarding invoice parking. After invoice is parked Documentum is following below steps to send vendor invoice through URL in the parked invoice document.

1) Job establishes JCO connection to SAP.
2) From the SAP side, it invokes BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE
3) Creates DIR link and object links.

When we try to view the attachment then system tries to establish IMC Connection and below error is dispalyed:

Error during import of physical document (A2, AIRCEL_EDMS_UAT:/DCTM37027D9580002C0C) from cluster table SDOKCONT1

We are not having DMS Module configured. We are working on ECC 6.0.

Can we use the functionality w/o DMS configuration. Kindly help to resolve the issue.
