Hello Experts, Can you please help me determine how the MSS Comp Power User Mode is used? My understanding is it allows you to log in as any manager and make Comp changes on his/her behalf, but then again I am getting this error which says "You are not allowed to run the poweruser mode for PERNR xxxxx". Your help in explaining what this mode does and how to properly use it will be highly appreciated. Thanks,

Issue in displaying default % in compensation planning
Below are the steps to check the issue:
1)Log in as MSS , Go to compensation Administration
2)Initiate compensation Planning
3)Issue- The (default) % comlumn is not displaying any value.
Configuation related to MSS OADP has been checked, yet no value is displayed.
Please suggest note / solution to solve the same.
How to delete archive files without storing in storage system
Hi Experts,
I am archiving tables S033 and S680 through SARA tcode.
I have 'store automatically' option checked in the customizing for these archiving objects.
Is there any procedure to archive these tables and directly delete those archive files from file server without storing it.

Own Content Server -> CMS test program - RSCMSTH2 (docProt) error

When we start the Report RSCMST with the Content Repository, we get a error in the RSCMSTH2 (docProt).
Unfortunately I havenot found a solution.
Thelogswere viewed.
I thinkit is up tothe settings inCRorin the content server.

Hi community,
I have a customer who is keen to confirm if SAP ECM will support some very specific requirements. Any input would be valuable.
First though would I be right in saying any ECM system is a combination of component from SAP such as:
- Document Management
- Content Management
- maybe TREX?
- SAP <solutions> by OpenText
- Other
Now on to some specific capability questions - can anyone advise if a SAP ECM setup can support, pretty much out-of-the-box:
- Advanced document search facilities (a la Google)
- User usage history
- Document version control and check in/out function
- User notifications for document activity (updates/creations/deletions)
- Naming convention controls
- Document numbering controls
- Usage/access reporting/auditing
I was able to answer all other questions definitively but on these, though I think SAP solutions support them - I'm not 100% certain they are good at supporting these requirements out-of-the-box.

(ii) There are instances where there are more than one pages in an invoice (called as patch pages)

Is there a possibility of scanning vendor invoices directly to the content repository?
Hi guys,
I am working on a implementation project for SAP VIM by OpenText. This solution normally involves scanning clients which are doing the transferring of the scanned invoices to the content repository. OpenText normally uses Enterprise Scan, which will require manual indexing of the relative information (i.e. company code, scan codes, etc.). The client doesn't want to do the manual indexing and they require that the invoices will just be fed to the scanner and it will automatically go to the content repository.
I just like to know if there is such a way to meet the client's requirements. They are saying that for other businesses using SAP, it is something possible. Please let me know your comments on this. Thanks!

Backup of MaxDB and DR site for SAP content server
Hi All,
I have installed SAP content server 6.5 with the database MaxDB 7.9.
1. Now i want to take a backup of data and log files of MaxDB database. So please anyone suggest me how to proceed further for backup strategy. If there needs to be any third party backup tools required for backup strategy please mention that and let me know how to integrate that tool with the MaxDB database.
2. And also anyone suggest me how to setup a DR(Disaster Recovery) site for SAP Conetnt server 6.5

Retention policy for manual attachments
Hello All
I have set up a content repository (file system storage) in our SAP system for manual attachments. The users can manually attach and retrieve documents from FB03 (for ex.).
Since these documents do not have a document number, doctype, link table and retention as we configure in OAC3, can someone explain me how can I configure retention for these manual attachments? I know that these documents are updated in the table SOOD.

Automated Invoices w/ SAP Opentext ICC
Hi Experts,
I have a few questions regarding the Opentext ICC program with Enterprise Scanner program..
1, How does the system capture different information and post invoices?
2, When invoices pass through ICC program, does the system go through a list of words to capture essential information on the invoice?
Is it possible to customized the list?
3, Template. I have been doing some research on uploading template to the system in order for it to capture essential information more easier and faster.
Instead of having bunch of different invoice templates upload to the system, is it possible to upload one general template with focus area to the system?
