Hi experts,

We're using the function   cl_rmps_general_functions=>create_dark  to create incoming post from a local program.

When the program was run on our system ECC6 EHP6 SP04.

The incoming post was created the property SRM_DOCUMENT_ID was set according to the rule specified in the custo.  When we open the incoming post through transaction SCASEPS, we hade the document ID displayed

After the upgrade to ECC6 EHP6 SP09.

The document is created, SRM_DOCUMENT_ID is mentionned as property.  (it is set in the code, the attribute change value is recorded in the table SRMPROTOCOL). But, when we open the incoming post with transaction SCASEPS the document id is equal to [...]

Does anyone have already encountered this problem?

I already checked for sap notes, without success.

Thanks in advance for your help !

Document Location SAP Records Management

Hi,

I have a question around where to store the data of the physical location of a document in Records Management.

After a document is uploaded to a record, I have been asked if it is possible to store the physical location of the hard copy of the document so that it can be easily located if neccessary. I have looked in the system and can't find anywhere to add notes etc and there is nowhere in the attributes that I can add the location. It would not be possible to add this into the short description due to the way this is used in my company.

I understand there is the possibility to Define Storage Locations Customizing (V_RMPS_STORPLACE), would this be the correct place to put this information and if so does this then show in the record attributes?

Thanks a lot.

How to archive non SAP documents using open text

Hello Experts,

Greetings, I have a requirement to archive the non SAP documents like E-mail, scanned document and scanned images using the open text.

This is something new for me and as well as for my customer.

At this moment the current system is completely manual the letters or emails (both inbound and outbound) are stored in paper based system. They want to change this system by using the open text.

Scenario may be like this for a business partner there will be lot of Inbound and Outbound communications happening, all these communications should be stored in Open text (or equivalent storage using Open text) and the link should be stored against the business partner.

I have few questions regarding this.

1. Which team will take care of the integration of Open text with SAP?

2. Once the Open text is integrated with SAP how can I archive the non SAP documents through Open text? (Just an overview or Step by Step procedure will help me)

[If this question in posted in wrong discussion forum, please forgive me and advise me the right forum]

Thanks in Advance

CV04N search with multiple documents and versions

$

CV04N is great for searching for documents in SAP DMS.  The problem is when you want to search for a specific version of a document using a long list of document numbers and versions.  Yes it is possible to paste a list of document numbers and version numbers into CV04N, but the problem is that all versions in the version list are used as search criteria for each document in the document list.  What I want is for CV04N to search for the first document in the document list (eg. 123) along with the first version in the version list (eg 01).  The second document in the list (eg. 457) I'd like to use the second version (eg 05) in the list as the search criteria, etc, etc.

Is there a way to do this with standard CV04N?  Is there customization available?

Thanks,

Is there a possibility of scanning vendor invoices directly to the content repository?

$

Hi guys,

I am working on a implementation project for SAP VIM by OpenText. This solution normally involves scanning clients which are doing the transferring of the scanned invoices to the content repository. OpenText normally uses Enterprise Scan, which will require manual indexing of the relative information (i.e. company code, scan codes, etc.). The client doesn't want to do the manual indexing and they require that the invoices will just be fed to the scanner and it will automatically go to the content repository.

I just like to know if there is such a way to meet the client's requirements. They are saying that for other businesses using SAP, it is something possible. Please let me know your comments on this. Thanks!

Hi,

I understand that unlike SAP workflow, most of the out of the box requests which clients come up in OpenText, are to be done by the use of ABAP classes and configuration. Please let me know a suitable place, where I could learn this or let me know, what exactly is to be done here.

Thanks!

I am installing VIM ( Vendor Invoice Managemnt ) with Opentext Imaging Enterprise Scan 10.2 and trying to connect with SAP Content Server 6.4 , My understanding , I need to install opentext document pipeline  to connect sap content server from Enterprise Scan, just wondering which configuration to choose from the following from the admin doc "OpenText Imaging Enterprise Scan 10.2.0 - User and Administration Guide English (CLES100200-UGD-EN-3)"

or

In ECC envirnoment, Is it possible to Audit a Production order.

Serialized material is Good's Issued to a production order during Assembly processes, however we have an audit team that have to verify that material is physically shipped V's Good's issued to Production order. Is this Possible?

We use ZPP_POD t-code as a systematic verification, but we want to verify physical v's systematic as material may be moved during assembly operation.

This Audit is also a Sarbanes Oxley requirement.

Is there SAP functionality to support this. Thanks

Hello gurus

Iam trying to configure SAP Content Server 6.40 on a Solaris Sparc with Maxdb.The  Content Server is running on a separate box.The CS and DB installation completed successfully.I nstalled the apache web Server which i downloaded from Apache webserver and unistalled the one that comes with Solaris.

Iam now facing problems when i try to connect to the repostories which i  have created on the SAP backend.

Below are the following steps that i have done:

1.! created  the repository in csadmin and oac0

2.Then it comes up with the ContentServer administration screen

3.Then i create the repository but when i display the new repository it says it doesnt exist

4.So i went into transaction SE38 and ran report RSCMST and it comes up with errors :HTTP error 405 method not allowed for the following test programs:

RSCMSTH0,RSCMSTH1,RSCMSTH2,RSCMSTH3

5. Below are the settings on the content Server in /export/home/sapcs/conf/cs.conf

TraceLevel=warning

AdminSecurity=0

AdminSecurityGroup=sapsys

ContRepRoot=/content_storage

ContentStorageHost=SDFVB00

ContentStorageName=SDB

StorageDriver=SAPDBStorage

Storage=ContentStorage.dll

PSEDir=/export/home/sapcs/security

So my questions are :

1.Why am i getting a me message saying Do you want to open or save content server when i run the test http://90.90.90.90:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

2.Where is the link between the repository on ContentServer and the SAP backend?(thro the ip address/hostname and port number?)and to the repository name?

3.Is the repository on CS and SAP backend supposed supposed to have the same ?

Any ideas will be welcome
